God Protect Me......
I saw a bumper sticker that read "God Protect Me from Your Followers". I had to laugh, as a Christian I have to be honest and admit that some of us are more than a little extreme in our beliefs. And a great many more Christians are just fake. You know who you are singing the loudest the choir, teaching Sunday school and taking a sip as soon as you get in the car. Can't even wait until you get out of the church parking lot.
The pastor at my church refers used the term "Taliban Christians". Those too far to the left or right, yelling hell fire and brimstone. Condeming every person Christian and non-Christian alike to hell for not being "holier than thou"or at least not pretending to be.
"Oh my God your cursed, you used God's name in vain, you have a tattoo. Your a fornication, your a homosexual, you married someone of a different religion. The Bible says you can't do this and if you do that you will go hell.
The reason this nation is no longer great is because we have lost site of "religion".
This nation is was based upon Christian values and we must take the nation back to it's original foundation. REPENT, REPENT
I don't know about you but I don't want to this nation back to it's original foundation. I ain't gonna be nobody's slave. Yes, I am Black and no political correct.
I may be politically correct but I do belief I am correct in saying that this countries creation was no based on Christianity but on religious freedom in general. I am not a religious Christian I am just a Christian. Religion is a just a man term for segregation. catholic do this, Baptist's do that, if you don't worship the way I do you are going to hell. No where in the Bible does it say anything about religion.
I am no Bible scholar but the Bible I read says "judge lest not ye be judged". It is not my duty as a Christian to condemn you are anybody else for that matter. If It was I would be God. We need to take a look in the mirror before we go pointing the finger.
I am a Christian, I am a sinner. I am trying to live life to the fullest, be happy and save my own soul. I don't have the time to worry about you and your issues. Too bad everyone else does not think the way I do, then the world would be a better place. As if I know, LOL. Oh that's right I do know, I am a Christian.
By the way my church is multi-cultural, non-denominational.
